In the Bull City lies a un-hidden gem lol, where nature's elegance unfolds in vibrant hues and delicate blossoms. Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Sarah P. Duke Gardens with my two favorite humans, Remy and Cameron, eager to create memories of the fleeting beauty of spring's cherry blossoms before they bid their seasonal farewell.
Walking through the garden grounds, it's impossible not to be captivated by the colors and fragrances around us. Each step felt like a brushstroke on a canvas :). The cherry blossoms, in their amazing pink splendor reminding us as creation often does, to savor the present moment before it slips away. My favorite part was watching the petals from the trees blow softly in the wind and seeing my Cameroni come alive when freed from her stroller to playfully walk (because she's doing that now!!) carefree on the beautiful grounds. We
I love visits like this because it can be a gentle reminder of the importance of slowing down and appreciating the simple joys that surround us. In a world that often moves at breakneck speed (guilty here), taking the time to pause and soak in the beauty of our surroundings is a precious gift.
Since returning back to jewelry making, I've been reflecting on how to capture the essence of Changed Impressions in this new season. The truth is, there's a bit of discovery of who you are as a designer the more you create...so I'm still discovering, but I believe I'm on the right track!
But one thing that remains true, I thrive on creating and cherishing life's little moments. The moments you can't get back.. and my passion lies in crafting jewelry that mirrors this sentiment✨.
From jewelry that make women feel beautiful and confident to adorable designs for little ones, this is handmade everyday treasures built to endure any season of life.
"Because everyday deserves a touch of beauty." 🌸
That's the heart behind Changed Impressions; embracing the small moments and celebrating the beauty in every day.
And if this is your vibe, then you've found your space here.
xoxo,
Shanika B.
