Life has been full of changes lately—
Especially watching Cameron grow from a baby into a curious toddler. Her little conversational babbles, her laughter, and her developing sense of humor warm my heart. It’s a constant reminder right now that change, while sometimes can be overwhelming, can also be beautiful!
This also brings me back to why I started Changed Impressions Jewelry. I, too, was experiencing a period of intense personal growth. It wasn’t just about external changes but about healing from within—working through childhood trauma alongside an incredible group of women from my church along with a counselor. My faith played a key role in that healing, inspiring me to create a brand that celebrates the resilience and beauty of women.
Changed Impressions isn’t just about jewelry; it’s about sharing a healing part of my journey and offering pieces that remind women of their beauty, strength, and worth.
Change is happening in my craft as well. I’ve had the privilege of refining my metalwork skills at a wonderful little studio in Hillsboro. It’s a tranquil space nestled in the woods, and the workshop entailed creating a double bezel and learning about all the tools in the studio. I made two rings, a bracelet cuff, and even a bead in the process.
I'm also excited about the community of local artists that I'll be able to meet in the process and I can’t wait to see how my jewelry evolves as I continue learning.
I’ll be closing the shop temporarily as I prepare to launch the new fall/winter collection. I’m excited to share these new pieces, inspired by the cozy feel of chunky sweaters and the rich colors of autumn. Expect to see stones like Citrine, moody Alexandrite, and agate moss making their debut, along with an array of earrings, bracelets, and of course, rings! All set in 14k gold-filled for lasting quality!
I’m also introducing a select range of fashion earrings in jeweler’s brass because I want to offer something for everyone! Brass has such a beautiful warm glow, and while it naturally tarnishes over time, it can be easily restored—unlike gold-plated pieces.
And for my gold lovers, don’t worry! Many of these earring designs will also be available in 14k gold-filled options :).
This collection is really going to push me while still capturing some designs you all loved from the Opal collection.
I can’t wait to reopen in October. Until then, thank you for all your support and love—I’m so excited to share the new things with you 🍂💍✨...
Sincerely,
Nik B. :)
